Osprey Men Pick Up Second Team Title of Season at Florida Southern

Seth Martinez Clinched Top Individual Finish
LAKELAND, Fla. - North Florida men's cross country earned its second team win of the season after five Osprey runners filled out the top five slots at the SSC Preview Meet hosted by Florida Southern on Friday evening.
Seth Martinez was the top individual runner in the 8k race for the Ospreys, as he led a group of Kameron Wallizada, Paul Lespasio, Ryan Douihech and Justin Tackling to all finish first through fifth in that order. Aaron Schimke also ranked in the top 10 overall as an unttached runner with a time of 27:09.71.
FINISH LINE
- The men swept the regular season closer with a first overall team finish.
- The Ospreys filled all slots within the top five.
- Seth Martinez led the ranks with a time of 26:21.81.
- The Ospreys overturned South Florida with a whopping 41 points.
- Wallizada's astonishing strides earned him a second-place individual ranking.
- Lespasio leaped across the finish line in third, pacing the course well.
- Douihech punched the clock in 26:54.86 to place fourth overall.
- Tackling rounded out the group in the official score with fierce strides for fifth.
