Ospreys Sit in Fourth Heading Into Final Round
SKOKIE, Ill. - Robbie Higgins put on a clinic during the opening rounds at Northwestern, as he turned in nine birdies through 36 holes to sit atop the player's leaderboard at the Windon Memorial Classic on Monday evening.
Higgins only had one hole that was worse than par after two rounds of play in Skokie, Ill. He has his sights set on his first-career medalist crown after finishing as the runner-up in two spring tournaments last season, including the ASUN Championship.
North Florida men's golf currently stands as the fourth-best team heading into the final round of the tournament at Evanston Golf Club.

ROUND REFLECTIONS
- Higgins reached a career-best 18-hole score of 65 in the second round, in which he carded five birdies and 13 pars.
- He was also one of five players from this afternoon to record back-to-back rounds in the 60s.
- The Bradenton, Fla., native has the best average score on par-five holes in the field at 4-under (3.83), as well as the most birdies with nine total.
- Lance Yates sits inside the top 25 after two solids rounds to put him at 3-over, including a great finish of 2-under on his final seven holes on Monday.
- Yates shares the top spot for the par-three average score with Higgins at 2-under (2.75)
- Nick Gabrelcik carded two birdies on each side for both rounds this afternoon to hold a share of 29th at 4-over 144 combined.
- Gabrelcik shares the best average score on par-five holes at 4-under (4.00), which gives UNF three different players as the leaders for average par-three, par-four and par-five holes.
- Cody Carroll matched Gabrelcik's scores of 2-over 72 in each round to place tied for 29th as well.
- Davis Lee finished strong at even-par 70 in the second round to find his way inside the top 40 at 5-over 150 combined.
- The Ospreys have the sole lead for birdies as a team with 35 total through two rounds, which is six more than the second-best team.
