UNF looks to capitalize on scoring opportunities this Thursday, after coming into the match outshooting foes by 29 shots over the last two contests.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Despite knocking on the door of a go-ahead or equalizing goal all night long, UNF women's soccer (1-4-1, 0-1-0 ASUN) was clipped by an in-form Jacksonville Dolphins (4-0-2, 1-0-0 ASUN) team, 1-0, in the ASUN opener Sunday, Sept. 18 from a damp Southern Oak Stadium. A JU header on one of two of the Dolphins' corner kicks found the back of the net just minutes before the first half expired.

FGCU enters the contest with three wins and five losses … in ASUN play, the Eagles beat Queens (N.C.) 1-0 and most recently lost to Liberty, 2-0 … their other two victories this season came against Florida Atlantic and Southern … junior Louise Lillback leads the attack for FGCU with a team-high three goals … Leah Scarpelli has been the creative spark for the Eagles with three assists.
Flurry of Shots
For the second consecutive game the Ospreys put up 10 or more shots against their opponent … UNF tallied 21 shots against Winthrop and another 14 in the River City Rumble this past Sunday at Jacksonville …sophomore
Jersi Dadah notched a team-high four shots against the Dolphins … throughout the first six games of the season UNF has outshoot the opposition 71-52.
