JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida women's soccer returns to Jacksonville but plays on the road for the 2022 ASUN Opener as the Ospreys take on an unbeaten Jacksonville Dolphins team in the 24th edition of the River City Rumble Sunday at 7 p.m.

UNF looks to pick up its 10th win in series history against the Dolphins, while Jacksonville aims to improve to 4-0-2 to start the season.

UNF and Jacksonville are meeting for the 24th time ... UNF lost the last River City Rumble but had won the previous six matchups before that … Jacksonville looks to earn its 13th win in the series' history.

ROCK HILL, S.C. - UNF women's soccer posted its most shots in a game in nearly two years, although Winthrop's backline was able to absorb all but one of those shots as the Ospreys (1-3-1) and Eagles (3-1-1) played to a 1-1 draw in North Florida's non-conference finale Sunday, Sept. 11.

Scouting Report
Jacksonville is unbeaten so far this season with three wins and two draws … the Dolphins have had two games deemed a no contest due to weather, similar to the Ospreys … their previous official match was a 2-2 draw to Georgia Southern, improving their unbeaten streak to five games  …Jacksonville's three victories this season have come against Alabama A&M, South Carolina State and Charleston Southern … Anaya Black leads the team with three goals on the season … Selma Fohrer has taken a team-high 13 shots through four games played.

Flurry of Shots
Even though the Ospreys were held to a draw last time out at Winthrop they posted the most shots in a single game in nearly two years … their 21 shots against Winthrop was the most since March 2021 where they put up 22 in the River City Rumble against the Dolphins … UNF looks to continue its attacking momentum Sunday as freshman Allie Fekany leads the line with two goals in five games.
