JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida women's soccer is excited to announce the signing of another local talent as St. Augustine, Fla., native Reese Radecki joins the Ospreys as announced by head coach Eric Faulconer and staff.
A forward, Radecki played high school soccer as a student at Bartram Trail High School, while competing in club ball with Florida Elite ECNL and North Florida Soccer Academy.
Reese Radecki
Ht.: 5-11
Position: Forward
Class: Freshman
Hometown: St. Augustine, Fla.
Previous School: Bartram Trail HS
Club Team: Florida Elite ECNL & North Florida Soccer Academy
Major: Business
Coach Faulconer's Words on Reese:
"We feel Reese is someone that will really develop in our training environment. She has size, athleticism and is a good finisher. She also possesses a long throw in, which is something we do not currently have in our program. Reese has been back playing the past several months after being out for an extended period of time with an injury. Prior to the setback, she was scoring goals on a regular basis with Florida Elite's ECNL team and was playing her best soccer. Those flashes are coming back and we are very confident Reese is going to continue to grow and develop. She has all the tools you are looking for in a frontline player and we are excited to have her join our program."
Prior to UNF/On Pitch Information:
Reese Radecki - Why UNF:
"I chose UNF for the welcoming team and coaching staff. On my visit they made it feel like home. The coaches seem ready and willing to help me reach my full potential as a player. I am excited to be part of a great soccer program at a great school on a beautiful campus."
Coach Mike Pickett on Reese - North Florida Soccer Academy:
"Reese is an athletic player who is great with both feet and has the speed to be really dangerous. She also possesses a long throw that keeps defenses under pressure in their defending third. I look forward to see her progress at UNF in a super culture that players love and grow in."
