Softball Run-Rules Jacksonville for the River City Sweep

UNF Scores 11 Runs in Three-Straight Games

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida softball (32-11, 11-4 ASUN) flexed its muscles on offense once again in the River City Rumble with its third-straight game of 11 runs scored to get the series sweep against Jacksonville (11-21, 5-7 ASUN) at Debbie & Fred Pruitt Softball Complex on Sunday afternoon.

The Ospreys swept Jacksonville in the River City Rumble for the first time since the 2015 season. They also belted three home runs in the same game, including a grand slam from Kayla McGory, and six total home runs in the series this weekend.

It was the first time in their D-I program history that UNF scored double-digit runs in three consecutive games. They also run-ruled their opponent in back-to-back games for the first time since 2019.
