
Women's Golf Leads Pack After Day One at UNF Collegiate

Dani Gonzalez Holds Share of Individual Lead
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Four players in the top 25 for North Florida women's golf gives them the top spot on the leaderboard after the first two rounds at the UNF Collegiate on Monday afternoon. The Ospreys have their sights set on securing their second team title of the season, as they won the 2021 Palmetto Intercollegiate in their fall season finale.
Daniela Gonzalez was the top Osprey score on their home course through two rounds at 3-under and will head into the final day of play tied for first on the leaderboard. She recorded her fourth round of her career in the 60s and will be looking to grab her first individual collegiate win during Tuesday's final round.

- Christin Eisenbeiss bounced back in the second round at 2-under 70 as well to go into the final round at 5-over 149 combined.
- Sara McKevitt stayed consistent through both rounds with scores of 1-over 73 and 3-over 75 to become the fourth UNF golfer to find her way in the top 25 on the leaderboard.
- Mindy Herrick rounds out an impressive first day for the Ospreys at 6-over 150 at Jacksonville Golf & Country Club.
- Sarah Scott finished tied for 63rd as an unattached individual with scores of 5-over 77 and 7-over 79, which surpassed her previous best scores from her collegiate debut at the First Coast Classic.
- The Ospreys are the only team in the tournament with four players sitting in the top 25 of the leaderboard going into the final day.
- UNF complete the first two rounds with the best par-five average score (4.11, 11-over), while also finishing tied for the most birdies with 30 total.
The Ospreys will complete the final round of the UNF Collegiate on Tuesday morning with an 8:45 a.m start time.
