Coach Faulconer's Words on Marlee:
"I have always believed in the human spirit, and through determination and support individuals can overcome any adversity that is thrown at them. After getting to know Marlee, there is no doubt in my mind that she is going to come back strong and be a contributing student-athlete in our program. Marlee is a very good player and she fits in very well with our overall team culture. She will redshirt this fall and our staff will fully support her every step of the way." - Head UNF Women's Soccer Coach Eric Faulconer

Why UNF: :
"One of the reasons I chose UNF was because of the close knit family feeling I immediately felt when meeting the team. I think it's imperative to have a group of people that will fight for each other in order to reach success. It all comes down to the atmosphere Coach Eric creates for his program. I also chose UNF because of the incredible support that I received from Coach Eric following my second ACL surgery. He reassured me that he believes in my abilities and has confidence that I will return to my previous level of play. I think that as a player that has a long road of recovery, it means so much when a coach believes in you and your abilities. You're fighting a lot of odds and the mental game means everything. I am so excited and grateful to have this opportunity to continue the sport I love. Coach Eric and his team have given me the confidence that I can thrive at UNF and be the player that I've always wanted to be." - Marlee Irwin
JFC ECNL U19 Head Coach - Jay Shepherd on Marlee
"I have known and coached Marlee for the past four years and could not be more thrilled for her to be continuing her journey as an Osprey. She is a passionate, resilient and relentless competitor who demonstrates all the qualities any coach or program could ask of a player. She works tirelessly to be better than she was the day before, ensuring she is bettering herself and those around her. This game means the world to her and she takes great care in the work that she puts in to excel. I look forward to seeing her growth and continued development at UNF. Under the guidance of Coach Faulconer, I know that the sky is the limit for Marlee."
