North Florida Competes in Two-Day Meet
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida women's swimming competes in its final tune-up prior to the CCSA Championship when the Ospreys go to FGCU Friday, Feb. 4 and Saturday, Feb. 5.Â
-UNF is coming off a double-dual meet at Georgia Southern in which the Ospreys won five events.Â
-Ashley Cozad took home wins in the 100 fly (58.75), 200 fly (2:09.02) and was the leading leg in a win in the 400 free relay. The Ospreys put up a time of 3:36.62.
-Annie Fletcher touched first in the 100 back, posting a time of 59.84.
-Freshman Gabriella Reeves took home her first win as an Osprey with a mark of 5:17.86 in the 500 free.Â
-UNF did defeat SCAD-Savannah, 160.5-100.5
-This is the second time in just over two months that North Florida has gone to Fort Myers. UNF swam at the FGCU Invite Nov. 18-20, competing against Georgia Southern and FGCU over a three-day meet.
-The last time UNF competed in a dual with FGCU was Jan. 30 of last year.Â
-Esther Quackenbush and Ashley Cozad both nabbed first place times in that meet down in Fort Myers.

"This is our last meet going into the CCSA Championship. We will be swimming a few different events, which is good, so we can get an extra swim in these events before the conference championship. Two days in a row will be tough, but we'll be ready for some fast swimming."
