Jazz Bond Tallies Double-Double in Loss at ASUN West-Leading Jacksonville State

Bond Posts Sixth Double-Double of the Season, Broermann Notches 13 Points
JACKSONVILLE, Ala. - Jazz Bond posted her sixth double-double of the year to go with a five-block night but ASUN West Division-leading Jacksonville State used a big run in the third quarter to hold off the Ospreys, 66-58, Thursday, Feb. 3 at JSU.

Bond tallied 17 points, 11 boards, five blocks and a steal on 6-for-11 shooting and Emma Broermann scored 13 and reeled in five boards. Despite coming in with a 70.8 percent mark from the line as a team, UNF (10-11, 3-6 ASUN) shot 10-for-17 from the free throw line and just 2-for-16 from deep.
Jacksonville State (16-5, 7-2 ASUN) only shot 60 percent from the line and 30 percent from deep, but a hot stretch in the third quarter and a nine-rebound advantage on the offensive glass helped the hosts to the win.
