
Herrick Shares Individual Title at Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational

EATONTON, Ga. - Mindy Herrick put together another great day of play in the final round with a score of 1-over 73 to win a share of the individual title, as the North Florida women's golf team finished third overall in the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational hosted by Mercer on Sunday afternoon.
It is the first individual title for the Ospreys this season and the first since Sydney Shrader won her title at the Kiawah Island Spring Classic in 2019. UNF has also taken hardware home from the RLO Invite in back-to-back seasons after winning the team title in 2021.

- Mindy Herrick carded a strong 1-over 73 round to cap off an incredible weekend of 1-over 217 to win a share of the individual title at Great Waters GC.
- Herrick tied the top finish of her collegiate career as an Osprey through 54 holes, as she was the co-individual champion of Amelia Island Collegiate in 2019.
- She also finished ahead of all individuals as the sole leader in par-four scoring average (4.00, E).
- Christin Eisenbeiss had a spectacular bounce-back performance in round three after scoring 2-under 70 with three birdies on the final day to tie for first and finish 6-over 222 combined.
- Eisenbeiss was tied for fifth in both par-three (E, 3.00) and par-four (+3, 4.10) scoring averages.
- Both Herrick and Eisenbeiss were ranked top four in total pars recorded over the three days, as Eisenbeiss was the sole leader (42) and Herrick finished fourth (39).
- Daniela Gonzalez recorded a final round of 9-over 81 to finish tied for 30th with a score of 13-over 229 combined.
- Sara McKevitt capped off her weekend on the links to finish tied for 50th at 18-over 234, while Jessie Cai followed a few strokes behind tied for 60th at 21-over 237.
- UNF was top five in all three different par averages as a team with their highest being third in the average score on par-three holes at 12-over 3.23.
North Florida takes a two-week breather after playing two 54-hole tournaments over a seven-day span and will return with their first home match of the season at the UNF Collegiate from Mar. 7-8.
