Ospreys Drop Home Game to the Flames for First Time in Program History
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -Â North Florida women's basketball (11-14, 4-9 ASUN) came into Thursday's game 4-0 in home contests against Liberty (24-2, 12-1 ASUN), but tonight the visiting Flames broke the Ospreys' streak in a 56-38 loss to LU Thursday, Feb. 17.
The Flames got out to an early lead and retained that advantage the rest of the way. Summah Evans paced the Ospreys' scoring 10 points, while Jazz Bond neared a double-double with eight rebounds, seven points, two steals and three blocks.
Liberty entered play tied for the most wins by any team in the country and they stayed tied with FGCU for the most wins in the ASUN with the win.
