Four-Day Championships Slated Wednesday-Saturday at Liberty
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The four-day stretch that UNF women's swimming has been training for all season is on the horizon as the Ospreys go to the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA) Championships Wednesday, Feb. 16 - Saturday, Feb. 19. The championships are hosted by Liberty at the Liberty Natatorium in Lynchburg, Va.

-North Florida goes up against conference foes such as Bellarmine, Campbell, FGCU, Gardner-Webb, UIW, Liberty and UNC Asheville.
-The Ospreys were unable to compete in last year's CCSA Championships due to COVID-19 protocols within the program.
-North Florida's Annie Fletcher was named CCSA Co-Swimmer of the Week last week after posting first-place times in the 100 back for consecutive meets. She did so at Georgia Southern and FGCU.Â
-Fletcher was the first Osprey since Amy Taylor in 2016 to earn such an award.
-UNF has competed at Georgia Southern and FGCU during the spring season.
-This season marked the opening of the UNF Aquatic Center. North Florida hosted a pair of meets at its on-campus aquatic center.

"This is what we have all worked for all season. A four-day championship meet is tough, but we are ready to swim fast. It's going to be an exciting week for us. Our swimmers are focused and ready to go. Being absent last season at the meet has made our swimmers hungry to swim fast."
