Lyric Swann Records Double-Digit Scoring in Fourth Consecutive Game
DUBLIN, Ireland - North Florida women's basketball (1-3) dropped the second half of the MAAC-ASUN Dublin Challenge against Marist (2-3), 61-45, on Saturday afternoon at the National Basketball Arena.
The Ospreys shot just 26% (18-for-68) from the floor and 15% (4-for-26) from deep. UNF finished the game with the rebounding advantage, but couldn't find the points to support their efforts on the boards.
Lyric Swann had another double-digit scoring performance with 12 points and a season-high mark of nine rebounds. This is the fourth consecutive game to start the season for Swann hitting the double-digit mark in scoring.

First Half: Jaelyn Swann drew first blood for the Ospreys with a make from downtown to respond to Marist's opening three...A jumper from Brianna Livingston and a free throw from Elysa Wesolek tied the game late in the first, but the Red Foxes scored six points to close out the quarter...Marist continued their scoring run into the second, as they stretched their lead up 18 points...Livingston put a stop to the run with a driving layup in the paint for two, but the Ospreys went to the break with a 22-point deficit.
Second Half: The scoring struggle continued for UNF after the half with only one field goal made in the first four minutes...the Ospreys put together their first run of the game with the Swann sisters and Wesolek making shots in the paint...a three-pointer from Wesolek ended the third quarter with Marist still holding a strong lead...Ospreys went back and forth to start the fourth with six of the first eight points in the period coming from L. Swann...UNF closed the game on a 9-0 run, but it wasn't enough in the 61-45 defeat.

- L. Swann bested her season-high mark of nine rebounds, which crushes her previous total of five against Rider.
- Emma Broermann was dominant on the boards as well with eight total rebounds, as all of them were on the offensive side of the ball.
- Livingston played another well-rounded game with eight points and six rebounds to go off of her career night from Friday.
- UNF had 42 rebounds compared to Marist's 38 total, as they were dominate on the offensive side holding a 17-4 margin.
- They also scored seven second-chance points compared to the Red Foxes' one, as well as total nine steals.
- Sarah Taub made the first start of her collegiate career just after fellow freshman Maddie Millar made her first on Friday.
