Sofia Miliancano Makes Career-High 10 Saves, Fekany Provides Game-Winning PK Goal
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - North Florida women's soccer put forth a resilient defensive effort and converted a decisive penalty kick goal as the Ospreys (4-6-1, 3-3 ASUN) secured a 1-0 victory at Austin Peay (3-7-5, 1-4-2 ASUN) Sunday, October 9th.

Inside the Match
- First Half: An up and down opening 15 minutes of the match produced two penalty kicks and a goal … a handball by the Governors sent freshman Fekany to the spot for the second time this season … she tucked the penalty kick inside the left post for the UNF lead and her second PK goal of the year … minutes later, Austin Peay's Annabel Anderson was fouled in the UNF penalty area as the referee pointed to the spot once again … Alec Baumgart took the kick, but saw it carom off the left post.
- Second Half: Defense was key in the second half for the Ospreys as they bunkered down to secure a third clean sheet of the season and second in as many Sundays … UNF faced nine shots throughout the second half, and were outshot for just the third time this season … Ospreys keeper Sofia Milancano had a career-high 10 saves against the Governors, playing a crucial role in UNF's victory … three UNF defenders logged 90 minutes, solidifying the UNF backline
