Women's Golf Finishes in Seventh at The Southern

Eisenbeiss Earns Fourth Consecutive Top-25 Placement
STATESBORO, Ga. - North Florida women's golf wrapped up its fall season with a seventh-place finish at The Southern hosted by Georgia Southern on Wednesday afternoon.
Christin Eisenbeiss carded an overall score of 15-over 231 through all three rounds of the tournament to secure her fourth straight top-25 finish to open the season. The former NCAA Championship qualifier also completed a fantastic fall season with two top-10 finishes, an individual title and an ASUN Women's Golfer of the Week honor.
Daniela Gonzalez and Kaitlynn Washburn highlighted the final round for the Ospreys at The Southern with their best scores of the week at 4-over 76. They each jumped among the top 40 individuals after falling just outside that range after the completion of the second round.

ROUND REFLECTIONS
- Eisenbeiss notched nine pars with one birdie to finish at 7-over 79 in the final round to get her to a top-25 placement at 15-over 231 combined.
- The junior also positioned herself within the top 10 for average par-four score at 9-over.
- Jessie Cai rounded out her week with a top-25 finish, which was her second of the fall season, with a combined score of 18-over 234.
- Wyndom Burnett matched Eisenbeiss with nine pars and a birdie as well to put together a 20-over 236 final score.
- Burnett also dominated par-threes during the week with a top-five average on those holes (even-par).
- Both Cai and Burnett racked up pars on the week tied for fourth in the field at 34 total, while Eisenbeiss was right behind at 32 total.
- Gonzalez and Washburn combined for 26 pars on the final day of play to come out with the team's best scores on Wednesday at 4-over 76.
- The Ospreys finished with two players in the top 25, as well as all being only one of three teams to have all five players inside the top 40 individuals.
- UNF completed the tournament with the second-most pars with 157 total, while also being top four for both average scores on par-three and par-four holes at 18-over (3.30) and 62-over (4.41) respectively.
