JACKSONVILLE -- North Florida women's soccer produced seven shots and a pair of goals in the second half to earn a 2-0 shutout road ASUN victory at Bellarmine on Thursday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The first half was more of a defensive battle with the two squad combining for just five shots
- Marissa House created the first shot of the match in the sixth minute
- The first shot on frame didn't occur until the 24th minute when a Bellarmine shot forced a save by UNF keeper Mercedes Sapp
- The Knights added another shot on goal in the 43rd minute
- Teams went into the halftime break in a 0-0 tie
- Ospreys roared out of intermission, peppering the BU goal with five shot in the opening 15 minutes of the period
- North Florida's pressure attack finally paid off in the 61st minute when Zara Siassi sent a pass out to Kayla Bond on the right wing, who served a perfect pass into the box where Thais Reiss connected on the one-time volley into the back of the net for the 1-0 lead
- The Ospreys added an insurance goal in the closing minutes | Haynes Grant lofted a ball to Vanessa Piermont at the top of the 18-yard box and Piermont then touched the ball past a defender and laced a shot inside the left post
- UNF's defense held the Knight's without a shot in the second half

- Reiss grabbed sole possession of 10th place all-time in the ASUN for goals scored
