Ospreys Score Game-Winner in Overtime

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida men's soccer got back in the win column after a high-scoring affair that was capped with a game-winning goal by freshman Joaquin Acuna in the 96th minute.

- Mercer started the action with a header goal from Jabang Ousman, but just minutes later, the freshman, Joaquin Acuna, found an open window to tie it back up for the Ospreys.
- With 30 seconds left in the half, Mercer turned a long throw-in into a goal by Angel Gonzalez that would take them into half with the one-goal lead.
- In the 52nd minute, junior Luto Tom launched a missile from beyond the goal box and put the ball in the back of the net to tie the game once again at two a piece.
- Junior Bendeguz Burka replicated what Tom was able to do and score from long distance as well to put the Ospreys ahead for the first time all game.
- Kadeem Agard scored a goal for Mercer in the 86th minute before the end of regulation, but Acuna once again puts one in the goal to seal the overtime victory over the Bears.
