FIRST TEE — The North Florida men's golf team earned a fifth-place finish in the season opening Rod Myers Invitational hosted by Duke led by a pair of Top 10 individual performances from Nick Gabrelcik and Grant Sutliff.

- Continuing on his freshman season performances, sophomore Nick Gabrelick picked right back up leading the Ospreys with his third consecutive under-par score | Gabrelick finished T8th after carding a 1-under 71 in Sunday's final round which included birdies on 3 of his final 10 holes
- Senior Grant Sutliff matched Gabrelick's T8th finish following his final round 2-over 74 | Round was highlighted by an eagle on the par 5, 9th hole
- Freshman Jason Duff earned a T27th finish in his collegiate debut capped by a final round 1-over 73
- Junior Davis Lee posted the squad's second best final round, carding an even-par 72 to finish T34th, while sophomore Robbie Higgins was T29th after a 76 to round out the Osprey lineup
- As a team, UNF shot a final round 2-over 290 on Sunday
- North Florida finished with 181 pars, ranking second in the field | Gabrelcik topped the filed with 41 pars followed closely by Robbie Higgins with 40 to rank second
