ORLANDO - North Florida men's soccer get handed their first loss of the season to No. 13 UCF, 5-0, on Sunday evening at the UCF Soccer & Track Complex.

GOALS

HOW IT HAPPENED

UCF struck first in Orlando when a scramble for the ball lead Gino Vivi to score an unassisted goal in the 28th minute.
Just moments later, Lucca Dourado followed up with another goal for the Knights in the 34th minute that was assisted by Alessandro Campoy.
Senior Igor Martins had an opportunity to put one up on the board near the end of the half for the Ospreys, but it was saved by the UCF goalkeeper.
The Ospreys held steady defensively to start the second half until the 62nd minute, when Dourado headed in his second goal of the game that was assisted by Franco Loello.
The Knights added two more goals, scored by Lucas Mauro and Josiah Ramirez, to cap off their night.

"It was a disappointing result. In the first 25-30 minutes, we created some opportunities off turnovers and were not threatening where we should have been. At times, we pinned them in and were not threatening towards the goal as well. Credit to UCF as they punished us in transition tonight, which is how they scored most of their goals, and that is not our identity. We need to move on from this loss and get our identity back when we play Mercer."
