FIRST TEE — Sophomores Nick Gabrelcik and Robbie Higgins both carded 2-under 70s in Sunday's opening round of the Isleworth Collegiate Invitational to help North Florida into a tie for third against a field that includes 10 squads ranked in the Top 100.

ROUND REFLECTIONS
- Sophomore Nick Gabrelcik notched is 6th round of par or better of the season with his opening round 2-under 70 and sits in a tie for 6th | Gabrelcik made a bogey on his second hole and then played the remainder of his round at 3-under
- Fellow sophomore Robbie Higgins also carded a 2-under 70 (T6th) for his second under-par score of the season | Higgins posted two birdies in his first three holes and then closed his round with back-to-back birdies
- Senior Grant Sutliff ended the day T37 after a 2-over 74 followed closely by senior Cody Carroll with a 3-over 75 (T45) | Caroll recorded two birdies over his final five holes
- Junior Davis Lee rounded out the Ospreys lineup with a 6-over 78 (T60th)
- UNF finished the first round with 55 pars led by 14 from Gabrelcik, who ranked T2nd in the field
- The Ospreys amassed 16 birdies for the day paced by 6 for Higgins, who shared the top spot in the field
- North Florida led the field in Par 5 scoring at 8-under (4.60 avg) with Higgins topping the field at 4-under (4.00 avg)
- Arizona State's Cameron Sisk and Preston Summerhays share the medalist list after posting rounds of 5-under 67
