JACKSONVILLEÂ - It was a back and forth game featuring 13 lead changes, but the final three minutes is all that mattered as Stetson grabbed a 78-76 overtime win against North Florida women's basketball on Sunday at UNF Arena as the Ospreys earn a split to start ASUN play.
"Really tough loss. I thought we responded well, but their players just made all the big plays down the stretch. This was a big time learning experience that we will grow from." - head coach Darrick Gibbs

Turning Point

INSIDE THE GAME

- The Hatters then had a 7-3 run before Jones hit a triple to close out the quarter and give UNF an 18-13 lead.
- In the second quarter, Stetson used a 10-2 run including back-to-back three-pointers from Tippy Robertson to force a UNF timeout.
- The teams traded baskets for the remainder of the frame as UNF held a 34-33 lead thanks to final free throw from Emma Broermann.

- Another three from Jones to kick off the fourth gave UNF its biggest lead of the game, but Stetson quickly whittled it down with a 9-0 run to regain the lead, 58-57.
- Moore hit a three-pointer to start an 8-0 UNF run, but it was the last field goals the Ospreys hit for the quarter. The Hatters used a 12-4 run down the stretch to force an overtime.
- In the extra frame, shot 1-for-6, while Stetson used an inside attach to take the game on 3-for-6 shooting. The Hatters called a timeout as the game was tied at 76 and made a run to the inside to score the bucket as time expired.
