LEADERBOARD: Following a 10-month hiatus from competitive golf, the North Florida men's golf team returned to the course Monday for 36 holes of action in the Timuquana Collegiate. The Ospreys concluded the opening day in a tie for 6th led by a pair of Top 20 performances from Nick Gabrelcik and Cody Carroll.

FIRST TEE
- Making his collegiate golfing debut, freshman Nick Gabrelcik boasted rounds of even par 72 followed by a 3-under 69 to finish the day at the Osprey co-leader at 141 (T16th)
- Junior Cody Carroll matched Gabrelcik's total of 141, carding rounds of 2-under 70 and 1-under 71
- Sophomore Davis Lee finished with rounds of 70-72 for a 27th place standing at 142
- Fifth-year senior Nick Infanti is T32nd after opening the day with a 3-under 69 followed by a second round 75 for a total of 144
- True freshman Robbie Higgins rounded out the UNF lineup with rounds of 73-76 to sit T64th (149)
- Playing as individuals, sophomore Drew Angelo is T42nd (74-71=145) along with fifth-year senior Michael Mattiace (75-70=145)
