Ospreys Drop Game Two, 81-73, Breaking a Three-Game Winning Streak
KENNESAW, Ga. - North Florida led for more than 26 minutes, but a sharpshooting Kennesaw State team (5-5, 1-5 ASUN) hit 14 of 21 three-pointers as the Ospreys (6-7, 4-2 ASUN) fell, 81-73, Sunday, January 24.
The Owls outscored UNF's bench by 18 and grabbed 14 more rebounds. UNF won the rebounding battle by the same margin a day ago.

INSIDE THE GAME
- Mackins put up eight points in seven minutes as UNF held a 16-12 lead after the first frame.Â
- Teams traded threes as the lead swapped sides throughout the second quarter. Jones hit three-straight three-pointers to put UNF up 31-27, although KSU was 7-for-7 from beyond the arc. The Owls led 42-38 going to the break.
- Bond went on a 7-0 run alone between the 7:34 and 6:23 mark in the third session to give UNF a 50-42 lead, its largest of the game. KSU closed the quarter on a 14-6 run claiming a 60-58 advantage going into the fourth.
- The fourth quarter started with three ties and three lead changes before KSU's late push. UNF was scoreless for 2:45 in the middle of the quarter when KSU went on its 8-0 run.

- After scoring her 1,000th-career collegiate point yesterday Bond surpassed 500 rebounds.
- Bond also picked up rebound 100 of the season and added two more blocks, giving her 29 for the year.
- Jones had her sixth double-digit scoring performance and a season-high six assists.
- UNF is in a tie for third place in the ASUN.
