"It was a nice way to kick off the cross country season. After a 10 month layoff, we were excited to get back to racing. Nathan picked back up running a great race to take the overall win. Freshman Jake Turner also had a great opener and his effort was very impressive. Aidan has worked very hard and has come back at a higher level. He has so many good races ahead. Leo ran smart and made good choices during the race. Freshman Robert Pedroza ran extremely well. He is focused, takes care of the details, and has a great career ahead of him. I'm really proud of the overall team performance today." -- Head coach Jeff Pigg.
