The Short Story: In a game marked by runs for both teams, North Florida fell 84-72 at Lipscomb in the first of two games this weekend in Music City.

- Junior Josh Endicott, playing in his home state, went 7 of 8 from the floor to finish with a team high 15 points while also pulling down five rebounds
- Sophomore Emmanuel Adedoyin also netted 15 points for the Ospreys highlighted by his trio of three-pointers

NOTABLE MOMENTS
- Emmanuel Adedoyin got the Ospreys started quickly scoring the team's first five points
- The game was a one-possession contest over the opening six minutes until Lipscomb utilized a 9-2 run to grab the momentum and a 20-14 lead
- North Florida answered with the next 7 points to regain the lead | Run included a basket from Josh Endicott, a three-pointer for Jacob Crews and a pair of FTs by Jonathan Aybar
- With the score tied at 23-23, the Bisons would outscore UNF, 14-3, over the next several minutes to build a near double digit advantage
- Adedoyin drilled a three late in the stanza to send the Ospreys into the break with a 36-30 deficit
- Jose Placer started the second half off with a bucket for North Florida but Lipscomb would then use a 12-1 surge over a four minute span to take a 48-33 advantage
- Carter Hendricksen would get a basket to end the Bisons run and also spark a 16-1 spurt for the Ospreys that saw them erase the deficit and knot the score at 49-49 | Crews connected on a pair of treys during the run while Hendricksen and Ryan Burkhardt also made three-pointers
- Minutes later, a jumper by Endicott gave the Ospreys their first lead of the second half, 53-52
- The teams would exchange the lead over the next several minutes but an 11-2 stretch by Lipscomb grew the margin to nine (72-63) and the Ospreys were unable to chip away the remainder of the contest

"Really proud of our fight and our effort. I thought we put together some really good minutes on both ends of the floor. We were able to get some consecutive stops to help us make the comeback, but like we tell the guys all the time, it is a 40-minute game. We lost the last three four-minute battles between media timeouts. When you battle back like me did to make it a one possession game, we really needed to be invested in taking care of things so that we could win those mini games. Give them credit as they were able to execute and got to the foul line and made their free throws and we weren't able to maintain our level of efficiency that allowed us to get back into the game. Tomorrow we get to do it again. We will make some adjustments and try to correct a few things like the 23 points off turnovers. I know we will be ready to go tomorrow night and go out and compete and fight to go 1-0."
