ASUN Conference Announces 2025-26 Men's Basketball Schedule

7/29/2025 1:55:00 PM

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Atlantic Sun Conference announced on Tuesday the North Florida men's basketball 18-game conference schedule ahead of the 2025-26 season.

The ASUN Conference schedule will start on Thursday, Jan. 1 and run through Saturday, Feb. 28. The 2026 ASUN Men's Basketball Championship will be held from March 4-8 with the First Round played at the campus sites of Jacksonville and North Florida prior to the Quarterfinals, Semifinals and Final at Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena.

All 12 ASUN Conference members will advance to the postseason, and it marks the first time since 2013 that the conference will hold both of its basketball postseason tournaments at the same site.

North Florida will square off with crosstown rival Jacksonville in the River City Rumble on the road on Feb. 14 and at UNF Arena in the regular season finale on Feb. 28. North Florida won both games in 2024, five of the last six and 19 of the last 26 in the rivalry.

North Florida battles Bellarmine, Central Arkansas, Eastern Kentucky and North Alabama once and the other seven members twice in conference action. The entire conference schedule for North Florida will have an even home-road split and follow a Thursday and Sunday format.

North Florida opens its conference action with consecutive road games at Austin Peay on Jan. 1 and reigning 2024 ASUN Conference Champion Lipscomb on Jan. 3. North Florida hosts West Georgia on Jan. 8 and Queens (NC) on Jan. 10.

North Florida heads to North Alabama on Jan. 15 and Central Arkansas on Jan. 17. North Florida remains home for four consecutive games – the longest homestand of the season – when it hosts Eastern Kentucky on Jan. 22, Bellarmine on Jan. 24, Stetson on Jan. 29 and Lipscomb on Jan. 31.

North Florida hits the road for a four-game road stint at West Georgia on Feb. 5, Queens (NC) on Feb. 7, FGCU on Feb. 12 and Jacksonville on Feb. 14.

Three of the final four conference games will be at home when North Florida hosts Austin Peay on Feb. 19, FGCU on Feb. 26 and Jacksonville on Feb. 28 with a road trip to Stetson on Feb. 21.

The ASUN Conference will release times and television information at a later date.
