NASHVILLE - North Florida continues ASUN play with a second consecutive road series as the Ospreys travel to Nashville for a pair of games at Lipscomb on Jan. 15-16. Friday's game is set to tip at 8 p.m. (ET) with Saturday's game starting at 6 p.m. (ET). Lipscomb is allowing fans to attend games and general public tickets are available for purchase at this link.

1. REWIND
North Florida opened its 2021 ASUN slate with a pair of one-possession contests against crosstown rival with the Ospreys dropping a tough 66-65 in the first game before earning a 70-68 victory | Carter Hendricksen led the way in the first game scoring 23 points including 6 three-pointers made | In game two, Jose Placer narrowly missed a triple-double with 18 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists

2. #BIRDSofTREY
With 391 3PM last season, UNF led the nation from beyond the arc for the second time in program history (2016 was the other season) | The Ospreys posted double digit 3PM in 13 games and averaged a nation's best 11.8 threes per game | This season, North Florida owns double digit 3PM outputs in 8 contests including a season high 15 versus FAU and Edward Waters | All 13 players that have played this season have attempted a trey with 11 different players making one

3. EVER-CHANGING LINEUPS
Through 12 games this season, North Florida has utilized 6 different starting lineups due to both injuries and COVID 19 protocols | Only four players have appeared in every game and no player has started every game (Jose Placer and Jonathan Aybar have each started in 11 of the 12 games)

The league's coach's poll and media poll both tabbed the Ospreys to finish 4th in the conference | North Florida junior Carter Hendricksen was a unanimous choice for preseason All-Conference after finishing his sophomore campaign ranked amond the league leaders in scoring and rebounding

North Florida and Lipscomb squared off in the ASUN Tournament semifinal last season in UNF Arena with the Bisons posting a 73-71 victory | Andrew Fleming hit a floating jumper at the buzzer to secure the win for Lipscomb | Carter Hendricksen had 19 points to pace the Ospreys with former standout Wajid Aminu chipping in a near double-double of 15 points and 9 rebounds | Ahsan Asadullah finished with 27 points and 19 rebounds to lead the Bisons while Fleming added 26 points | Lipscomb shot 50 percent from the floor and 42 percent from long range, while UNF hit 43 percent, but struggled from long range, going just 9-for-31

SCOUTING LIPSCOMB
- Lipscomb is 8-6 on the year including a 3-1 mark in ASUN play
- The Bisons started the season 2-5 but have now won 6 of their last 7 including a road sweep of ASUN newcomer Bellarmine last weekend
- LU is 5-2 at Allen Arena
- KJ Johnson is the team's top scorer at 14.5 PPG followed closely by Ahsan Asadullah with 12.6 PPG and 7.9 RPG | The Bisons lineup features four players averaging double digits
- Lipscomb head coach Lennie Acuff is in his second season with the Bisons owning a 24-22 record | Acuff has enjoyed a successful career coaching career boasting a mark of 579-347 over 31 years including 22 as the mentor at University Alabama at Huntsville
