- Recorded seven double-doubles for the year highlighted by a 20-point/13-rebound effort against Jacksonville
- Matched the UNF all-time record and set the Division I era record with 7 blocks against Minnesota
- Surpassed the 500 career rebound mark and 100 career blocked shots
- Topped team with 34 dunks

2017-18

- Played and started in 28 games, missed five games with an injured ankle
- Ranked 5th in the ASUN for rebounding (6.6 RPG) and was 3rd in blocks (29)
- Scored double digits in 11 games including a career best 29 against USC Upstate
- Topped 20-point mark twice
- Recorded four double-doubles on the season including a 20-point/13-rebound outing against Stetson
- Collected double figure rebounds in five contests capped by a career best 13 versus Hatters
- Handed out career best 6 assists vs Florida National
- Led team with 18 dunks
 

2016-17

- Played in all 34 games with 26 starts as a true freshman
- Ranked second on team in rebounding (6.5 RPG) and ranked fourth in scoring (9.1 PPG)
- Listed 8th in the ASUN for rebounding and was 5th for offensive rebounds... Also ranked 6th in the league in FG percentage at 54.2
- Scored double digit points in 15 contests including a career high 24 vs Thomas University
- Grabbed double figure rebounds in six games with a personal best 13 vs Palm Beach Atlantic
- Set a program ASUN Tournament record with 12 boards in championship game vs FGCU
- Tallied team-best five double-double performances including a 10 pt/10 reb outing at #22 Syracuse
- Ranked second on team and fifth in the ASUN with 36 blocked shots
- Broke UNF freshman blocked shot record


High School

- Prep standout at both Coral Gables High (2012-15) and Wheeler High (2016)
- Helped lead Wheeler (Marietta, Ga.) to a District Championship in his senior season, finishing with a 24-6 record
- Named All-Region first team during final prep season
- Twice named All-District at Coral Gables
- Averaged 16 points, 11 rebounds and two assists per game as a junior
- Also played volleyball for two seasons with the Wildcats
- Member of MCB Team Miami and Game Elite AAU squads


Personal

- Born September 1, 1998
- Son of Aboubakar and Anjirlic Aminu
- Has two older brothers, Alade and Al-Farouq, played collegiately at Georgia Tech and Wake Forest, respectively. Alade played professionally in overseas while Al-Farouq has been a member of the NBA's Orlando Magic and Portland Trailblazers
