
Kohler Earns ASUN Women's Track All-Decade Accolades

ATLANTA - Emily Kohler '06 earned a spot on the 2000-09 ASUN Women's Track and Field All-Decade Team, announced by the conference office Friday.
Kohler, a member of the 2016 UNF Hall of Fame Class, was the Most Outstanding Field Performer at the 2006 ASUN Outdoor Championship. She picked up consecutive wins in the Javelin Throw from 2006 to 2008. Kohler is one of two student-athletes from North Florida to be a three-time event winner at the Championship.
A multi-sport athlete, Kohler was one of 32 student-athletes named to the All-Decade Team across 10 programs. Jacksonville led the way with 11 entries to the All-Decade Team followed by three apiece from Belmont, UCF, FAU and Georgia State.Â
To be named to the All-Decade Team individuals must have competed for at least two years in the decade as an ASUN student-athlete. Exceptions made for NCAA All-Americans. Individuals that obtained one of the following criteria were named to the team: Three First Team All-Conference selections in Single Event (individual only), Five Total First Team All-Conference selections (including relays), multiple Superlative Award winner, NCAA Championship individual participant.Â
