LEADERBOARD: No. 46 North Florida improved nine shots from its morning to afternoon rounds on day one of the General Hackler Championship, vaulting the Ospreys up the leaderboard into seventh place.
FIRST TEE
- Senior Michael Mattiace led the way for the Ospreys carding a pair of under-par rounds of 69-71 to rank T6 at 4-under 140
- Sophomore Cody Carroll joined Mattiace in the Top 20, finishing the day T11 with a 2-under 142 (73-69)
- Freshman Davis Lee ranks T33 at 146 (75-71) while senior Nick Infanti is T48 at 149 (76-73)
- Junior Michael Saccente rounded out the UNF lineup at T70 with scores of 78-75 (153)
- Freshman Drew Angelo, playing as an individual, ended the day with rounds of 76-73 to rank T48 (149)
