Ospreys take down JU in postseason for first time since 2010
JACKSONVILLEÂ - North Florida women's basketball rallied from behind and outscored fourth-seeded Jacksonville 14-4 in the overtime period to grab a 77-67 victory in the ASUN Quarterfinals Saturday at Swisher Gymnasium. The fifth-seeded UNF squad advances to its third straight semifinal game.
North Florida now has 16 wins for the most since 2003-04 and the road win gives UNF the most since the 2001-02 season. With its 10 three-pointers made, UNF set the program's single-season record and now has 205 on the year. The 2015-16 squad last had the record with 200 triples.

- The teams traded runs in the early going of the game with UNF going 7-0 to lead 11-5 before Jacksonville used a 10-3 spurt to lead 15-14. A final bucket from Bond gave UNF a 16-15 lead after one.
- Jacksonville used a 12-1 run in the second quarter to take its biggest lead of the game at 30-20 before UNF closed out the frame on a 9-0 stretch to trail by just one heading into the break, 30-29.
- The third quarter had seven lead changes with Jacksonville taking a 41-37 lead - the biggest of the quarter - before UNF scored the final five points to own a 42-41 lead after three.
- In the fourth, the score was knotted six times. The Ospreys had their biggest lead off a Bond triple to kick off the quarter, but the teams traded baskets to force overtime at 63-all.
- North Florida was aided by a 9-for-10 outing from the line, a driving lay up from Tolbert and a three-pointer from Bond. UNF had its biggest lead of the game on a free throw from Eremeeva.Â
