LYNCHBURG, Va. – The North Florida men's track & field gets the gold in the distance medley relay in the first day of the ASUN Indoor Championships Friday, Feb. 28.

"Jared Vazquez ran a great leadoff leg handing off in the lead. Spencer and George held the lead in the 400m and 800m respectively. Timothy Doyle anchored in the mile with a blistering last 400 to seal the win. All the guys ran well and it was great to get the gold."
"In the 3000m the guys ran very well. It was a very high-quality race and a fast pace. I thought we competed very well and finished with a lot of good times. Nathan ran especially well and all the guys are really looking forward to racing tomorrow."

- Nathan Jubran completed the 3000m in 8:16.48, good for fourth place.
