FIRST TEE — Following four months off from competition for the winter, No. 91-ranked North Florida women's golf returns to tournament play Monday and Tuesday in the Amelia Island Collegiate at Amelia National.

1. LAST TIME OUT: North Florida capped its fall tournament schedule with a 5th place finish at the Palmetto Intercollegiate in Kiawah Island, S.C. on Oct. 13-15 | Sophomore Daniela Gonzalez led the way for the Ospreys with a career best T4 finish that included a career low 68 in the opening round and a personal best 212 tournament total | Senior Sydney Shrader joined Gonzalez in the Top 20, finishing T19 at 218

2. COURSE REPORT: The Amelia Island Collegiate is being held at Amelia National Golf Club and features a par 72, 6,029-yard layout for the 54 hole event | Tournament action includes 36 holes of play on day one followed by a final round of 18 holes on day two | Day one is slated for a shotgun start at 8 a.m., on Monday with Tuesday's final round using an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start

North Florida is making its seventh consecutive appearance at the Amelia Island Collegiate hosted by crosstown rival Jacksonville | Ospreys have enjoyed success in the event having claimed the team title twice, including last year and in 2016 | Sydney Shrader earned the medalist crown in the 2018 Amelia Island Collegiate

These tournaments should challenge us and also create an opportunity to move up the rankings with strong finishes.
