JACKSONVILLE - The North Florida men's basketball team makes its long awaited home debut Monday night in a match-up against in-state foe FAU at 7 p.m. The game is being streamed on ESPN+ and there will be a limited number of fans allowed in attendance at UNF Arena.

1. REWIND
Playing in their fifth consecutive road clash, UNF battled against High Point on Saturday afternoon but came up short in a 85-74 loss | Four starters reached double digits for the Ospreys led by Josh Endicott's first career double-double featuring career bests in points (18) and rebounds (12) | Emmanuel Adedoyin and Jose Placer each added 12 points while Dorian James chipped in 10 | UNF handed out 19 assists in the loss while collecting six blocked shots | HPU had a pair of 20+ point performers - John-Michael Wright (23) and Lydell Elmore (21)

2. #BIRDSofTREY
With 391 3PM last season, UNF led the nation from beyond the arc for the second time in program history (2016 was the other season) | The Ospreys posted double digit 3PM in 25 games and averaged a nation's best 11.8 threes per game | This season, North Fl1orida owns double digit 3PM outputs in 3 of 5 contests including a season high 12 versus Miami | All 12 players that have played this season have attempted a trey with 9 different players making one

3. ON EQUAL FOOTING
North Florida faces its third mid-major foe of the season having dropped games vs Eastern Kentucky and High Point earlier this year | Ospreys are 42-24 (63.6%) versus non-conference D1 mid-majors during Coach Matthew Driscoll's 12-year tenure

4. PRESEASON PICKING
The league's coach's poll and media poll both tabbed the Ospreys to finish 4th in the conference | North Florida junior Carter Hendricksen was a unanimous choice for preseason All-Conference after finishing his sophomore campaign ranked amond the league leaders in scoring and rebounding

5. LAST TIME LOOK BACK
UNF and FAU last met on the hardwood in December of 2007, with the Owls earning a 70-64 win in Boca Raton | Tom Hammonds paced the Ospreys in that meeting finishing with 23 points including 3 treys | FAU has won all four of the previous meetings with two coming at UNF Arena | Last matchup between the pair in Jacksonville was 
Nov. 22, 2006 with FAU earning the 59-44 victory

SCOUTING FAU
- Florida Atlantic is 2-2 this season having lost its first two contests before rebounding with wins over Mobile and Florida National
- The Owls are averaging 81.8 PPG  and have made 51 treys (12.8 per game) this year
- Jailyn Ingram leads FAU averaging 15.0 PPG and 6.0 RPG
- FAU is guided by third-year head coach Dusty May (36-33 record) | May has led the Owls to back-to-back winning seasons including a 17-15 mark in 2019-20


UP NEXT
The Ospreys head back to North Carolina for the third time this season as they take on East Carolina on Thursday at 6 p.m. in Greenville, N.C. It will be the first meeting between the two teams.
