Men's XC/Track Signs Simon DeVoss

JACKSONVILLE - Head Coach Jeff Pigg and his staff sign Florida native Simon DeVoss to North Florida men's cross country and track and field teams in the first week of signing.

High School: Astronaut HS
Track PR | 1600m: 4:19.14; 3200m: 9:24.78
XC PR | 5K: 15:39.10
Bio: Recently placed sixth in the FHSAAÂ 2A Cross Country State Championship where he earned All-State accolades (Nov. 15, 2020).Â
Why he chose UNF: "I chose UNF because I love the team culture that Coach Pigg has established, and the program is getting stronger year after year. UNF is also a school where I can pursue a degree in Civil Engineering, which is something I have wanted to do since I was little."
