LEADERBOARD: Despite no golfers among the Top 10 finishers, the North Florida men's golf squad used a balanced performance to capture the team title of the Graeme McDowell Invitational hosted by UAB at Greystone Golf and Country Club.
FIRST TEE
- Sophomore Cody Carroll used an even-par 72 on the final day to hold onto his position in a tie for 11th, finishing with a total of 2-under 214
- Senior Michael Mattiace and sophomore Grant Sutliff shared team honors for lowest final round, carding rounds of 1-under 71 to share 14th-place at 1-under 215
- Freshmen Davis Lee (77) and Drew Angelo (72) rounded out the Osprey lineup, finishing T17 (216) and T22 (217), respectively
- Playing as an individual, Michael Saccente earned a tie for 85th (236) after a final round 82
- North Florida captured the championship with a 54-hole total of 850, including an 2-under 286 in the final round | Ospreys edged runner-up UAB by a single stroke
