JACKSONVILLE - North Florida men's soccer opens up ASUN play at home against Liberty.

1. LAST TIME OUT - North Florida played to a draw at FIU. The Ospreys went down in the first half, but responded by dominating the second stanza. Junior Zane Bubb hit his first goal of the game on a corner from Robbie Soronellas. UNF kept the Panthers at bay for the remainder of the game and outshot them 12-9.

2. THREE TIMES - Last season, UNF played at Liberty and fell behind 2-0 including a goal 20 seconds into the match - both by Kevin Mendoza. North Florida responded when Nick Burgess scored his first goal of the season on a corner from Jake Hawker. UNF then tied the game in the second half as Adam Everett picked up a goal. The Ospreys then got the go ahead in the 78th minute on a successful free kick from 35 yards out.

3. ASUN PLAY - This is the second season in a row where North Florida opens against Liberty. UNF owns a 5-8 mark in league openers. Three of those wins have come at Hodges Stadium.

4. SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
Liberty is coming off of back-to-back wins against George Mason and VMI to move to 3-3. Musa Morris owns a team-high two goals, while four others have found the net. Seth Clark is the main playmaker as he owns the Flames' three helpers. Danny Cordero and Brogan Engbers have split time evenly in net with Cordero owning a 1.33 GAA and a 2-1 record to his name. The Flames own a slight 33-31 edge in shots against opponents. The player that scored against the Ospreys last season graduated. The Flames finished 2-3-1 in ASUN play last year to earn a five-seed in the ASUN Tournament.
