Last Time Out
JACKSONVILLE, Fla.  - North Florida's dominance of Florida A&M (18-28) in Jacksonville continued Sunday, in large part thanks to a pair of dandy pitching performances from Nick Marchese and Brandon Reitz.

Together the righties combined to twirl 13 innings of two-run ball as the Ospreys downed FAMU in a pair of seven-inning contests Sunday, April 28, at Harmon Stadium. UNF (26-17) took the opener 4-0 and rolled to a 10-2 win in the series finale, earning a three-game sweep of the Rattlers.

Berry Blast
Chris Berry was swinging it this weekend. He became the first Osprey of 2019 to homer in consecutive contests, belting one Saturday and a leadoff home run in the bottom of the first Sunday. The senior notched his ninth multi-walk game of the season with three free passes against FAMU in a 10-2 win Sunday. He has walked three times in one game on three different occasions this season.

First Inning Fun
UNF's first inning success proves to be continually staggering. The Ospreys scored in the first inning in two of the three games, putting up four runs in the first frame combined. UNF has now scored 49 runs in the first frame, outscoring opponents by 25 runs in the first session. The Ospreys scored 35 runs in the opening inning all of 2018.

King K
Redshirt-senior Brad Deppermann became the new strikeout king for UNF's Division I history Saturday. Deppermann fanned nine in the 9-1 win against FAMU, giving him 214 for his career. He passed Kyle Westwood (2010-13) who previously held the record at 209 punchouts. The righty is second in the ASUN in strikeouts with 82.
