Osprey Pitchers Fan a UNF - Division I Record 17
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - UNF scored three runs in the first and the Osprey arms fanned a UNF-Division I Record 17 batters, but No. 7/11 FSU (11-0) crept back in the game and eventually walked off with a win in the ninth at Florida State Wednesday, March 6.

- The Ospreys (8-6) knocked FSU's starter Antonio Velez out of the game after only 0.1 inning of work to put UNF ahead 3-0.
- Chris Berry walked, Jay Prather singled to right and David Maberry loaded the bags with a single through the left side. UNF scored one on each of the next three plays. Tanner May walked, Austin Hurwitz ripped a single to right and Wes Weeks hooked an RBI single through the left side.
- FSU got one back in the second inning.
- Carter Smith walked, moved to second on a hit by pitch and scored on a Nander De Sedas RBI single sliced past a diving Tanner May at shortstop.
- The Seminoles tied it up with the long ball in the seventh. Drew Mendoza walked and Elijah Cabell clubbed a two-run home run to right center, evening it at 3-3.
- Blake Marabell made a potential game-saving catch in the left field corner to end FSU's seventh inning, stranding two Seminoles. He also made a running catch in the corner on a deep fly ball at the start of FSU's eighth.
- The Noles walked off in the ninth.
- FSU's Matheu Nelson reached on May's throwing error on a grounder to short, pulling Alex Reynolds barely off the bag. Following a walk De Sedas drove the first pitch he saw off the wall in right, plating the game-winning run.
