LEADERBOARD: Paced by the low scores in both opening day rounds, No. 18 North Florida climbed to the top of the team leaderboard at the General Hackler Championship on Monday. Senior Travis Trace led the Osprey charge, claiming the medalist lead with a pair of rounds in the 60s.Â
FIRST TEE
- Travis Trace fired rounds of 66-67 en route to posting the best opening day total of 11-under 133
- Fellow seniors Andrew Alligood and Jordan Batchelor ended the day T11 (141) | Alligood opened with a 73 followed by a 68 while Batchelor carded the same scores in reverse order
- Senior Philip Knowles posted back-to-back rounds of 1-under 71 for a 36-hole total of 142 (T17)
- Junior Michael Mattiace rounded out the Osprey lineup in a T63 (150) after shooting rounds of 80-70
