Behind the Line Score
- UNF broke a 0-0 game with a six-run explosion in the top of the third inning.
- Six walks, one intentional walk and one hit by pitch fueled the Ospreys' outbreak.
- All the scoring was done with two outs. With runners on second and third, Tanner Murphy was intentionally walked. WKU's (6-3) move failed as Newell walked Prather to plate Blake Marabell.
- Tanner May drew a walk and David Maberry delivered the inning's biggest blow, a three-run double into left center. WKU's left fielder had a beat on the ball but could not reel it in on the track.
- A few more free passes brought in the sixth run.
- Max Law turned on homer to left to start the fourth.
- After a Jay Prather single, May blasted his second home run of the season, making it 9-0.
- Deppermann left after six, allowing only four hits while not permitting a run.
- Jean ran into some trouble in the seventh, allowing three consecutive hits for two runs. The freshman settled in, recording a three-inning save.
