TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The No. 20 Florida State Seminoles (6-1) defended their home courts, winning 4-0 against the visiting Ospreys Saturday, Feb. 9, at the Scott Speicher Memorial Tennis Courts.

The two teams did not play to completion as three singles matched were left unfinished, two of which had UNF (3-3) possessing the advantage in the second set.

Cobra's Comments:
"We gave our best effort at FSU today, but Florida State is a very solid team. We did have chances throughout singles and doubles, but they were better at the important times. We'll recover tomorrow and look forward to a full week ahead at home." -- Head coach Mariana Cobra.

Up Next:
A busy week at home begins Tuesday, Feb. 12, when UNF hosts Flagler at 11 a.m. followed by Savannah State at 5 p.m.

Notes:

UNF's two losses have come on the road this season.
This is UNF's first match against a ranked opponent in 2019.
FSU was an Elite 8 team last year, falling to Vanderbilt after topping UNF, Florida and Tulsa.
This was the first meeting between these two teams since they met in the 2018 NCAA Tournament.
