ORLANDO, Fla. - Things were in reach through three, but No. 21/23 Minnesota unloaded for 11 runs in the bottom of the fourth as UNF (0-1) fell in five innings, 13-0, in its season opener at the Friends of Jaclyn Invitational.

Behind the Line Score
- UNF knocked on the door in the top of the first inning, loading the bases after back-to-back singles and a walk. The Gophers got out of the jam by striking out two and coaxing a fielder's choice.
- Minnesota took advantage of two walks, an error and a wild pitch to setup a two-run double off the bat of Katelyn Kemetmueller, giving the Gophers a 2-0 lead after one.
- Minnesota starting pitcher Carlie Brandt settled in, retiring 12 of the next 13 Osprey batters.
