JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - UNF continues a stretch of six road matches in a row with two in Tennessee this weekend as it takes on No. 25 Vanderbilt followed by Middle Tennessee State.

FORT MYERS, Fla. - The Ospreys opened up an early 1-0 lead behind good energy and clean play in doubles, but the FGCU Eagles (2-3, 1-0 ASUN) responded to steal five of six singles matches as UNF (4-4, 0-1 ASUN) fell in the league opener, 5-2.
Against Our Opponents
- This is the first-ever meeting between UNF and Vanderbilt.
- MTSU evened up the all-time series at 2-2 when they won 4-3 in Jacksonville March 8 of last year. The two teams first met back in 1989.
Taking Inventory
- North Florida returns five from last year's ASUN Championship team.
- Seniors Sahil Deshmukh and Till Von Winning are the top wins leaders from last year. Deshmukh went 19-13 and Von Winning went 16-13, both in singles play. Together they were 15-8 in doubles.
- Dominik Barton is the team's only freshman. He received the ASUN Men's Tennis Player of the Week honor for January 17.
- UNF has two transfers in sophomore Jorge Nunez (Denver) and junior Federico Nani (Florida A&M).
- Nunez earned ASUN Men's Tennis Player of the Week honors Feb. 13 after going 2-0 in both singles and doubles competition.
- This is UNF's second match against a ranked opponent this season after facing No. 25 NC State Feb. 2.

- The Commodores came in ranked No. 25 in the most recent Oracle/ITA Division I Men's Tennis rankings.
- Vandy is riding a five-match winning streak. During this streak they've defeated Penn State, Michigan State, Belmont, Rice and MTSU.
- The Commodores lone losses this season have been to Notre Dame and Harvard.
- Cameron Klinger and Billy Rowe both have 14 wins apiece to lead Vandy.
- Klinger and Daniel Valent have split time at the number-one spot.
