JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - North Florida continues its push for ASUN postseason play when it hosts Kennesaw State for the annual Play4Kay game Tuesday, Feb., 12 at 7 p.m.

FLORENCE, Ala. - Despite a career-best double-double from Jazz Bond, the North Florida women's basketball team was unable to overcome a sluggish opening quarter in a hard fought 77-62 loss in at North Alabama Saturday, Feb. 9.

Bond netted her team leading fifth double-double going 7-for-18 from the floor against the Lions.

Play4Kay
In conjunction with the Coach Kay Yow Cancer Fund, the North Florida women's basketball program will be hosting its Play4Kay game February 12 at 7 p.m. against Kennesaw State.

In addition to that date, the UNF women's basketball has elected to pledge $5 for every Osprey free throw made for each women's basketball home game during the month of February.

The first 100 fans in the door for UNF's game against Kennesaw State will receive a free UNF roll-up blanket with a pink Osprey head and the Breast Cancer Awareness emblem.

Osprey Fast Breaks:

UNF has had at least one player record a double-double in each of the last seven games. During that stretch, four different players have reached that mark (Dasha Eremeeva, Jazz Bond, Arianna Emanuel-Wright and Adrienne Jackson).
Bond's 23-point effort Saturday matched her career high while her 12 boards was one better than her previous best mark.
UNF is 6-1 on Tuesdays after the win against Lipscomb last week.
Emanuel-Wright leads the team with four 20-plus scoring performances.
Ty Purifoy recorded her 200th assist as an Osprey in just 49 games play last Saturday.

Scouting Kennesaw State

Kennesaw State is 2-7 and 6-16 overall, sitting at seventh in the conference with seven league games remaining.
The Owls are coming off their most convincing win of the season, a 70-47 triumph against NJIT last Saturday.
KSU features three players scoring in double figures each game, led by Kamiyah Street's 15.2.
Guard Amani Johnson has dished out 4.3 assists per contest this season, good for fourth in the league.
Kennesaw State's 9.3 steals per game is second in the conference in steals per game behind only FGCU.
