OMAHA, Neb. - North Florida men's basketball continues play in the Continental Tires Las Vegas Invitational with a Sunday afternoon clash against Creighton at 2 p.m. in the CHI Health Center Omaha.
1. REWIND
Ospreys went toe-to-toe with Iowa from the Big Ten Conference through the opening 20 minutes on Thursday night holding a six point lead and trailing by just four (39-35) at halftime | Hawkeyes took advantage of 20 offensive rebounds and 24 second chance points to earn the victory | Ivan Gandia-Rosa led a quartet of UNF players in double digits finishing with 18 pts (6 3PM), sophomore Carter Hendricksen narrowly missed a double-double tallying 17 points and 9 rebs | Wajid Aminu had 13 pts/7 rebs / 5 blocks
2. BATTLIN' THE BIG EAST
The Ospreys are 0-2 all-time against teams in the Big East having played just 2 of the 10 current members | UNF has played Marquette (2009) and St. John's (2006)
