PIGG'S POINTSÂ
"We have a very focused group that has put a lot of effort into preparing for the ASUN Championships. Things have gone well this Fall considering we're redshirting Lydia van Dijk. A lot of other young ladies have stepped up and we're ready to race. Camryn Cooney has continued to run well and is somewhat faster than last year. She is better and consistent. Grace Gumpel has been faster and more consistent as well. She works hard and they both provide a 1-2 pinch for us. Raquel Lespasio has had a breakout season. Last year she learned a lot and came in this fall ready to roll. She has not only provided strong performances but has been an inspiration. Sadie McLaughlin has also made some nice improvements. I think she and Raquel both decided they wanted to be good this season. Talent backed by desire is strong and this team is turning the corner. We know how to work and live clean so now we are just consistently doing our best. The future looks good and it will be exciting to race this Saturday ." --Head coach Jeff PiggÂ
