Sydnie Steele Selected Inaugural Student Leader of the Month

JACKSONVILLE -- North Florida junior runner Sydnie Steele was selected the Student Leader of the Month for September as announced by the Taylor Leadership Institute.
Steele was recognized based on her efforts as a Leadership Mentor to two ninth graders at a Duval County Public School along with being an intern in the FBI Training Program and a student-athlete on the UNF track/cross-country team.
"Sydnie is an exemplar to her classmates and a 'brand advocate' for UNF as a whole," said Dr. Matthew Ohlson, the Director of the Taylor Leadership Institute.
Steele is the inaugural selection in this new initiative between UNF Athletics and the Taylor Leadership Institute.
