JACKSONVILLE - North Florida men's soccer (4-5-2, 3-1-1 ASUN) heads out on the road for its final league contest as it travels to defending ASUN Champion Lipscomb on Saturday.
1. LAST TIME OUT - UNF defeated Stetson, 2-1, on Saturday.
Bryson Smith scored the first goal for the Ospreys with help from
Jake Hawker and
Nick Lodovico.
Landen Haig followed with the game-winner less than two minutes later as he sent home a ball on a failed clear from the Hatters defense. The win snapped a three-game skid against the Hatters and propelled UNF into a tie for first in the conference.

STINGY DEFENSE - North Florida is currently ranked 57th with a 1.05 GAA aided by the main keeper in
Padraic Gilley. Gilley is ranked 51st in goals-against average in the NCAA and moved into the top spot in the ASUN.
3. SHARE THE WEALTH - Seven Ospreys have now found the back of the net after Smith and Haig scored against Stetson. It was just the second time this season that North Florida tallied a pair of goals. Five total player shave dished out helpers including
Robbie Soronellas who leads the team with six total points (2G, 2A)
4. CHANGE IT UP - North Florida was on a four-match win streak against the Bisons from 2014-2016 including three 3-0 wins. UNF defeated Lipscomb to advance to the ASUN Championship game in 2015 with a 2-1 double overtime win. Since then, the Bisons have won back-to-back games by scores of 1-0 and 2-1.

5. SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
- Lipscomb is coming off a 1-1 draw at UAB on Tuesday.
- The Bisons are 3-8-2 on the year and just 1-3 in ASUN action, dropping three straight. The Bisons fell to FGCU, Stetson and NJIT. Each game was a one-goal deficit, with the exception of Stetson. The Hatters won 3-1.
- Lipscomb was tabbed as the preseason ASUN favorites in the conference coaches poll after advancing the the round of 16 in the NCAA Tournament last season.
- Malik Shaheed and Ruben Pedersen each own three goals, while Shaheed leads the team with seven points with Louis Robinson.
- Three Bisons have split time in goal this season: Alex Brown has seven appearances and 18 saves, freshman Michael Sibley has four appearances and 12 saves, and Luke Wilson has four appearances and 11 saves.
